PTP's fiberglass exhaust wrap is chemical and oil resistant that will not shrink or loose flexibility under extreme conditions.
This is very applicable in marin and machinery installations where enclosed compartments often suffer from high tempurature
Fiberglass Exhaust Wrap Heat Tolerance:
Direct Contact Use Limit: 1200°F / 649°C
Max Contact Use Limit: 2000°F / 1093°C
Note that the all exhuast wraps are fire-proof but if soaked in old, the oil will smoke and burn as it will on any material should the temurature be high enough. Please ensure that you protect the wrap during isntallation and service of your engine bay and replace if you should have oil contaminations.
